June 8th is the 12th annual World Ocean Day. The Ocean Project is helping to coordinate events and activities worldwide with aquariums, zoos, museums, and the World Ocean Network. Use the sample letter to the editor to express your concerns about ocean health in your local newspapers.



Journey North: Signs of Spring

Robins, monarch butterflies, and hummingbirds are being tracked in the month of May. Students make observations and report their sightings to create a digital map. They also communicate with scientists who answer questions about the different migrations.
